Contributions and refunds

The assessment is free. If you chose to contribute and want your money back, you can have it.

Contributions

Overcharged is free to use and funded by the person who built it. Anyone can contribute towards the cost of running it, in any amount. A contribution is optional, buys nothing extra and doesn't change your assessment. Origin Collective Limited is a company, not a charity, so contributions aren't charitable donations and Gift Aid doesn't apply.

Getting a refund

Contributed by mistake, or changed your mind? Email hello@servicechargecheck.co.uk within 14 days with the date and amount, and we'll refund you in full. Refunds go back to the card you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days of us processing them. After 14 days, ask anyway: we'll do our best.

If we got something wrong

If we misread one of your documents and it changed a finding, a figure or a letter, tell us which property and what's wrong. We'll look at it and put it right. We can't promise any outcome with your landlord or managing agent; see our terms.

Your legal rights

Nothing here reduces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other law.
